[1] This fee will be deducted from the account on the 5th day of each month, after 3 full calendar months from the date of the account opening;
Assuming an account is opened in March, if the account is opened on 1 March, the first three complete calendar months would be March, April and May, and the Account Management Fee will be charged on 5 June for the first time.
If an account is opened on a date between 2 March and 31 March, the first three complete calendar months would be April, May and June, and the Account Management Fee will be charged on 5 July for the first time.
The Account Management Fee will be waived if the average Daily Balance of accounts maintained with CMBHK, including deposits, market value of investment products, market value of any stock/Securities and fees received for insurance products, for the three complete calendar months is HKD100,000 or above (or its equivalent).
[2] In case of insufficient balance, the Account Management Fee shall be deducted from a sub-account denominated in the other currencies at the applicable exchange rate of CMBHK on the date of conversion.
[3] For example, deposit / withdraw HKD/RMB 100,000: HKD/RMB ($20 + 8 x $30) = $260; deposit / withdraw HKD/RMB 200,000:
HKD/RMB ($20 + 8 x $30 + 10 x $60) = $860.
