為了向您提供更有效简便的银行服务，本行現通知您《證券賬戶條款》（“條款”）將作出修訂，並由2022年9月1日起生效（“生效日期”）。 請注意，如您在生效日期當日或之後繼續使用或保留相關戶口，則表示將受上述修訂約束。概括而言，主要修訂如下:

1. 必須於銀行持有可進行香港證券買賣的證券賬戶才能開立任何證券賬戶以進行香港以外的司法管轄區市場的證券買賣這一先決條件已刪除。
2. 對您的結算賬戶的指定加以明確的其他變更以及與證券賬戶相關的各項變更。

您可能需要採取的行動

如果您同意並接受本通知所闡述的安排，您無須採取任何行動。如您在生效日期當日或之後繼續使用或保留相關戶口，則表示將受上述修改約束。

如您拒絕接受該等變更，您有權根據現有版本中的相關條款於生效日期之前終止相關戶口。

Dear Customer

Notice of Changes to Terms of Securities Account 

Thank you for using our banking services.

In order to provide more efficient and streamlined banking services to you, we would like to notify you that with effect from 1^st September 2022 (“Effective Date”), the Terms of Securities Account (the “Terms”) will be amended.  The amended Terms shall be binding on you if you continue to maintain any account with us on or after the Effective Date.  To summarise, the main amendments are as follows:

1. The prerequisite of maintaining a Securities Account with the Bank for Hong Kong market securities trading for opening any Securities Account(s) for securities trading in other markets has been removed.
2. Other changes to clarify the designation of your settlement account and miscellaneous changes relating to the Securities Account.

Actions that you may take
If you agree to and accept the arrangement set out in this Notice, you do not need to take any actions.  We assume you accept the amended Terms if you continue to maintain an account with us on or after the Effective Date.

If you do not accept the changes, you have the right to terminate your account(s) in accordance with the relevant clauses under the Terms before the Effective Date.
